I'll Meet You There

(OOC: Continuing thread for Solaurea, Sapphire, Sköll, and Damian, along with whoever else wants to tag along.)

White paws stepped upon a few pebbles, causing them to grind against the ground with a small crunching noise. The female took in a deep breath of forest air, hinted with a bit of cold weather. The wind lightly ruffled her green fur, messing with the faded 'tiger stripes'. Her ears flicked slightly, as she looked upon the landscape below the mountain they were currently on. Sky blue eyes scanned it for any sign of movement, but it was to no avail. The small group had traveled quite a long way from the crumbling city the day before, but now, they had finally made it to where Solaurea's pack was rumored to be.

"Are we there?" a voice piped up. In her musing, Solaurea had forgotten the others for a brief moment. She turned her head to view the cat alongside her. "Not just yet. I'm resting my paws." she said. Sapphire nodded, and sat down as well, taking the opportunity to groom herself appropriately. Turning to the other two, Solaurea nodded them over. "You don't have to hang around back there. Come on up here with us." she barked.

Waiting for the two to take their invitation, Solaurea stretched out upon her side, paws lying parallel to her body, as she breathed out a deep sigh. Eyes turned to the landscape once again, as her thoughts took over. She couldn't help but wonder if Kauke really was there, and if she really had brought the entire pack. Or was it separated? Smaller? Bigger? The poor female didn't know anymore. It had been much too long.

Damian was actually quite close to Sol, he glanced down occasionally with his signature smirk. Crimson gaze flickered over toward the feline who's voice rung in his dome shaped ears. He dismissed the cat as he noticed Sol called behind her to call him and Skoll over. "I'm right here, dearest," he cackled in a amused voice. Long plushy tail glided over the air and rested over his spine casually. "Sol," he began with his nickname to her, "Could you tell me a bit about this pack of yours'? I'm quite curios and eager to know more," his grin curled across his ebony lips as he leaned closer to her so his irises locked with her cerulean orbs. This female interested him as she didn't fall for his charms, didn't freak out, she just remained calm as he tried to mess with her. Allowing his haunches to rest by hers, Damian's tail curled over her back.

Gaze slithered over his favorite cat, "Sappy... why hold such a rough exterior? You really should act as cute as you look," his voice held a strange unknown accent toward it, it seemed alluring and held a eerie feel to it. Damon cocked his head to the side giving off an rather innocent look as he gazed at Sapphire. "Y'know... not to make anyone seem suspicious, but why allow random canines you have no idea of a past follow you?" he was directing the question to Sol as he stuck his ashen muzzle close to her face, peering into her pools . "It's just. You have no idea if anyone is a sadistic killer... or worse," he gave off a teasing cackle, lifting his head away before sending a whoosh of hot breath against her ear. Eyes narrowed to give him a slight evil completion before arching his lips to expose a grin.

Solaurea's face distorted a bit as the dog posed his question, but she remained regal and collected as ever. "That is the point of my test, which I will not disclose the details to. I let dogs that follow me come along, but I keep a wary eye on them. I'm not a weak alpha." Solaurea said, baring her teeth for show.
"If they choose to attack me behind my back, they will face a creature that is rarely ever unleashed upon this earth." the Akita said, her voice low. Sapphire nodded in agreement, quite tame beside the Akita...she had faced that creature once, and she barely survived. "I hold a rough exterior because if I was to act "cute", I would be killed in an instant. "Cute" doesn't cut it for a stray like me. "Cute" gets you killed." Sapphire said, flexing her claws impatiently.

Solaurea's tail folded neatly over her back as she began to explain. "My pack is indeed made of up misfits. We have dogs of all breeds and sizes, and even wolves, for that matter. They all passed their tests with determination and loyalty, with large variances between each and every test. So your test will not be the same as any other pack member's." Solaurea said, her gaze piercing straight into Damian's. "My beta is a large Iberian wolf named Kauke, an old childhood friend of mine. She is perhaps the most loyal of them all." Solaurea said. Of course, it wasn't entirely true, but for the most part, after the "incident", Kauke had indeed stayed by her friend's side, regretting everything she had done.
